At Premium Cabinet Studio we are designing more and more kitchens with "stacked cabinets". Our clients want the extra storage that stacking provides, with the impressive "WOW" factor with cabinets flowing upward to the ceiling. Making the most of your space, is what we do!
The next time you hear someone is talking about Tuxedo Cabinets, you will be in the know.
Hi All! This is Leslie Allison,
If you have ever been shopping for case goods (chests, nightstands, cabinets) and your friendly salesperson mentioned "dovetail joints". Did you know exactly what that meant?
When shopping for new kitchen cabinets, there are terms, "lingo " you need to know. Today’s blog post about the lingo of "inset cabinetry".
What is inset cabinetry?
This is the first part of a 6 part blog posts series, Lingo you need to know.
Recently we had 2 clients, both doctors, in a design consult. They liked the design and the estimate of their new kitchen.
They wanted to proceed with Premium Cabinet Studio, but they had some additional questions.
While quartz is a popular choice for counter tops, granite is still the first choice, due to its beauty, durability and cost.
Quartz is running $55.00 per sq. ft. Granite can be as little as $30.00 per sq. ft. That’s a dramatic difference.
You may think granite wears like "iron". You can place hot pans on it, cut on it and pour hot sticky liquid on it. It is a work horse, but it must be maintained properly.
Tis the season, remodeling season!
Even with the Polar Vortex reeking havoc for most of us..Spring time is going to happen. Really! Around Valentine's Day we see an upturn in our business. Its remodeling season!
Yes, you are shoveling snow, slipping and sliding, but this is the perfect time to start on your kitchen remodel. Why?
New Year? New You?
Why not, New Year, New Design?
Here’s what will be trending in 2019!
The Next Big Thing!!!
As we "Ring out the old Ring in the new" there are some new trends we will be seeing in 2019.
I remember a time when boasting about how much or how expensive something was considered impressive and yes, a bit in bad taste.
Betty said they spent $300.00 on their new console television, I recall my Mom telling a neighbor over coffee when I was a kid.
Fast forward, now it is considered good business to brag on how little something costs. Everyone wants and expects to get a deal, but how do you know if you are getting a deal?
When looking at custom cabinets this is what to expect.
